So...R We In A Drought????

So, as you can see we here @ P.E.M.F are at a loss for words because our content isnt anywhere close to our normal posts. Most of this month has been just a blurr...I mean has anyone said anything about Black History Month??? Reflecting on moments in black history though its funny how white america has treated us over the years. Think back to 2001 when Denzel Washington and Halle Berry won Oscars for Best Male and Female performances. did u ever realize it took Denzel to play a "bad" cop to finally win, like he has had other roles in movies where he did an excellent job. The story of Malcom X, Bone Collector, Fallen, and bunch of others. As for Halle Berry she had to get completely naked and get mounted by a white hillbilly man to receive this award. It's like our time in glory is also a form of mockery...like they are sayin Congradulations but look how low you had to stoop to get it HAHAHAHA!!! I mean look what they classify us as BLACK...for most of us we are not literally BLACK we are brown or mahagoney even the dark dark africans arent literally black so why degrade our race even more??? This isnt right...will there ever be equality??? to make matters worse my institution of higher learning has given no mention or care about the historical month not even multiple black speakers or a whole Convocation in recognition of Black History Month!!! The thing is we can't just point the finger @ others and say it's ur fault because if we honestly wanted Black History Month to be recognized we should have taken the iniative. Martin Luther King Jr. wanted equality among races so he did the necessary things to make it happen he just didnt sit back and watch and blame America for no equality...Well what im tryin 2 say is SORRY!!! SORRY to my forefathers who fought 4 me. SORRY to those influential black men and women who made advances 4 us that our youth dnt kno about because our history books are filled with the advances of White America...it's our job to tell these kids what we have done what we have been through, and where we can go...Just think about it... Thanks to Barack Obama the possibilities for an African American youth to achieve anything are endless. SORRY to the followers and fans of the blog because we should have highlighted these influential African Americans throughout this month. See how America is slowly taking away every little thing we have...Black History Month...the word Nigga(LOL)...Our Style(they actually been doin that for years)...Our women...Our Lingo. It's kinda funny how Amercia doesnt want us to have our own stuff but they are always tryin 2 copy or recreate it as their own. Face it ppl...AFRICAN AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE THE BEST!!! We have proven it in Sports for some time and we are proving it right not in Politics...WE TAKIN OVER!!!
